Business Description
Founded in 1985, Katharine T. Carter & Associates is the only company in the country – exclusively for artists – providing museum and gallery placement, and comprehensive promotional support, as well as educational programming, public relations and marketing services. Activities are conducted in the continental US.

Museum Placement Services
Provides museums and museums on college and university campuses, better college and university galleries, art centers and alternative spaces with rental-free exhibitions and visual art lectures by the Company’s distinguished Associates.

Gallery Placement Services
Provides commercial galleries, art consultants and curators of corporate collections with up-to-date information on current artist clients whose work is appropriate to area of focus and interest, both in New York City and nationally. The Social Media Marketing Program and The New York Presence Program direct promotional efforts to the tri-state area. National Gallery Placement Program focus is the United States and major metropolitan areas.

Promotional Support Services
Production of all written support materials, including critic’s essays, artist statements, biographical material, pitch letters, press releases; as well as catalogues, color announcement cards, and complete public relations support materials; in addition to full media relations services in conjunction with exhibitions organized through KTC.
